GLCC©(Gas-Liquid Cylindrical Cyclone). As shown in the figure, the inlet is connected to the plumb pipe in the tangential direction by the pipe with a downward inclination angle, and the multiphase flow enters the main separator after passing through the pre-separation. As a result of the swirling current, centrifugal forces, gravity and buoyancy form an inverted conical vortex surface in the main separator. The dense liquid phase flows along the wall of the plumb pipe to the bottom of the separator, the less dense gas phase rises along the center of the vortex to the top of the separator, and finally the gas and liquid phases are discharged from the top and bottom of the separator, respectively. And adjust the liquid level and pressure through the control valve to achieve full separation of the two phases, and the separated gas phase and liquid phase are measured separately by a single-phase flow meter.
The precise design of the GLCC© separator is the key to its overall performance. Precise separator design ensures that the gas content of the liquid phase outlet and the liquid content of the gas phase outlet is within 1% in the event of severe jam flow. According to the working conditions and measurement accuracy requirements provided by the user, our company analyzes the working conditions of each oil well and simulates the computer fluid through multiphase flow analysis software, calculates and determines the size of GLCC©, and designs and manufactures GLCC© and supporting instrument control system.
